What to expect when you're having a marketplace
October 1st marks a major milestone in health care reform with the much-awaited debut of Get Covered Illinois, the state's Official Health Insurance Marketplace. But remember, there's plenty of time. Consumers have until March 31, 2014 to enroll, and Illinois Health Matters will be there to help guide the way. All the more reason toshare this newsletterwith friends and colleagues.
Meanwhile we've been busy training enrollment and outreach specialists throughout the state to help people sign up for "Obamacare." Tomorrow we will launchHelpHub, a private portal whereIn-Person Counselors, Navigators, Certified Application Counselors and others can help each other by sharing best practices, successes, challenges and lessons learned.Does this sound like you? Talk to your lead agency to request an invite.
